Heatmap & Screamer Planner

Model one 16 by 16 block chunk, find the largest heat sources, and estimate when active heat packets can reach the Screamer threshold.

The first heat packet is created when a workstation starts. Older packets expire after their listed lifetime instead of fading smoothly.

How chunk heat works

Heat is stored per 16 by 16 block chunk and affects adjacent chunks. Workstations create discrete heat packets. At 100 points the counter resets and a scouting event can begin.

Do generators and electric lights add heat?

Generator, battery and solar banks do not add meaningful passive heat. Non-fire light sources such as spotlights are also safe.

Why are torches marked as a reference model?

Flickering fires use a different real-time emission rule. Their exact result depends on game speed, so the planner uses the published packet values as an approximation.
